When I release what angers me...

"When I release what angers me, In doing so I heal my knee"

The knee is where we assimilate knowledge/learning from an energetic/spiritual level.

We kneel when receiving most things, from healing to prayer.

It’s interesting that a lot of the Buddhist monasteries and temples where people went for healing were either up on a mountain or had a lot of steps to climb.

Very often a sick person would literally have to CRAWL up the mountain to get to the healer.

While it was difficult, it gave the person a chance to get in that “frame of mind” to receive the healing.

While receiving a healing therapy today is much easier, it's often more difficult to get our head and heart in the right place.

Often doubt and the lack of self belief will stop the process and we recreate the illness.

So the crawling up the mountain literally put us in the frame of mind that we would be healed when we got there.

Those who didn’t believe would simply turn around and go home because it was too hard.

It also put us in a humble position and allowed us to put pride aside.

If the knees are where we assimilate energy, including healing and the belief of the ability to be healed, perhaps half the work was done just by crawling to the healer?
