Land Girl Yoga Weekend Retreat

Feeling utterly detached from nature and that what sustains us can leave us feeling utterly detached from ourselves. In our Land Girl Yoga Weekend Retreat we re-establish not only a connection with nature, and with the earth, we reconnect with our innerselves. Going outside in a natural environment has the power to transform our inner space. When you place one bare foot on the ground, your root chakra will start to match the frequency of the surroundings you are in. This direct contact between the earth and our human body also keeps our heart healthy by thinning the blood. Health is magnified in the arms of nature.

In late September the sunlight may not be tickling our skin but being emerged in nature, in harmony with the elements allows us to connect more deeply with source and all the elements of which we are made from. The smell of the earth whether dry or damp, delicious life giving fresh air allows us to 'catch our breath' and transform our mood. Nature naturally triggers sensations like awe, joy, relaxation and mindfulness. When we wonder at nature's daily display, we become inspired - in Spirit and gain a shift in perspective, bringing new insights to all the elements of our life.

Quiet, focused time in nature enhances our meditation practice, improves our listening skills and greater concentration occurs. With both heart and soul in sync emotions arise and fall away, memories surface and fall away, and your feelings begin to lighten as they are seen, heard and validated.


Barefoot yoga, off the mat, and out of the studio in nature will decrease your tension, your repressed anger, your low moods/depression and will offer you abundant healing. Our lungs have the capacity to hold six litres of oxygen - an open air yoga practice allows for better quality oxygen which breeaks down pollutants, releases stress and improves sleep.


I would love for you to join us in this Land Girl Yoga Weekend Retreat. Our basic needs will be met - safety, security, shelter, food and green space. Laughing and sharing with other like minded souls, embracing the elements of nature - wind, rain, sun, sand or water will re-establish not only a connection with nature, and with the earth, but enable you to reconnect with your innerself
